I have watched every single Super Bowl from Day One.

Legendary Coach Lombardi was originally from God's Country (better known as Brooklyn, NY to most of you) just like I am. Despite his shortcomings and his political leanings, he was and remains a sports hero to me. He made the Super Bowl famous. I watch the game to honor him, the great game of football, my NY Giants and Jets (who won five SB's). And, of course, I always eat something special to mark the occasion. Am planning on having a steak with coco juice.
{Pardon me for a few seconds ...........
OK. I'm back ~ had to put the marinade on my steak.}

Will also have some veggie chips and hummus and mebbe some hot apple cider.

Let's hope the game will be fun for all.

Enjoy!

The Super Bowl is an opportunity to get drunk and overeat! And if you're lucky, you get to watch a good football game!

I think this is going to be one of the better SB games. I actually like both teams, but I'm pulling for the Bengals.

I'd have to drive an hour away to watch it at my
daughter's and son-in-law's since I don't have TV.
They're always fun to be with.
I do like watching the Super Bowl for all the reasons in the poll.
Already saw this Alexa commercial that will air during Super Bowl.
It's cute and funny.

I can't figure out why anyone goes to the super bowl game. The average price of a ticket is around $5,000 and parking somewhere within walking distance to the stadium is over $4,000. On top of that, you can see the game much better on TV. I just don't understand.
I don't either. I just watch bits and pieces of it unless somebody like Tom Brady were playing.

I live close to a football stadium and right now the streets outside are clogged with the cars of spectators. It's absolutely pouring with rain but it seems the match will go ahead, even though the players will be sliding around in the mud.

I don't much watch football any more, not unless LSU is playing and likely to win...

For me the most memorable Super Bowl was watched in a bar in Mexico, in Spanish. My Spanish isn't very good, but I needed no translation. I enjoyed the Mexican crowd, every bit as excited and into it as any crowd in the US. Had a great time, but don't remember who was playing or who won.

My most memorable football game was the 1958 Sugar Bowl, I was 6 years old and we were living in Florida. My father, also an LSU grad, could only get the game on our car's radio. Nothing televised then. So we listened to the game on WWL, the New Orleans station, whilst sitting in the driveway. LSU won, and became national champions that year. I don't remember the game as well as my father's excitement, not something I have ever forgotten. One of my life's regrets was that he didn't live to see LSU win the championship in 2019...

Never been into sports that I didn't participate in directly. Baseball, Boxing, racketball. I have a hard time with the outrageous amounts of money involved over something as simple a game. Just imagine all the good that could be done that kind of money. I have seen quite a few of them, as we have friends at our winter home who have a big party every year. I would guess that maybe half of the people there actually watch the game. Mike

I am watching because my son is coming over to watch it and yes he will be bringing chicken wings so I voted for that options. I know pretty much nothing about the game of football. I am just happy I won't have to cook food for myself today. So go whatever team and score a home run. 🤣

In Canada they’re not permitted to broadcast the Super Bowl commercials. My husband will have the tv on and I’ll glance at it occasionally, so I don’t consider that watching. For a couple years they permitted the commercials and I made sure to watch them.

It’s worse than $5000.

Every vendor has different data and information, but as of the publication of this article, the average ticket price on the secondary market is currently selling for a record-breaking $10,086 per ticket. The lowest price ticket, known in the industry as the "get-in price," is currently $6,645, but according to experts at TicketIQ, those prices are steadily dropping and could be into the $5,000 range by this weekend.

The single most expensive ticket listed is currently available for $66,036 and a 12-person suite is currently available for a whopping $940,000.
