I watched the first episode and was disappointed. It seemed like a funny idea, but it was so over the top that it might as well have been an episode of The Simpsons.

Yes, it does get very juvenile at times. It is definitely over the top. There are just tidbits about the extravagant and insincere lives of evangelists that make me laugh. Probably because I grew up in the Southern Baptist church. I can totally understand why it isn't for everyone. (y)
