RT America, Russia's English language TV station

A few days ago I was going to make a post about RT but was afraid someone would again accuse me of making political statements. In all honesty they have brought up subjects the US media have ignored such as the slaughter of pro independence people from Donbas. Won't say more as it would likely get deleted.

I'm not sure where the line of politics is drawn. Seems to me a lot of what gets discussed here is political in nature, just not partisan or much about individual politicians, excepting Putin of course.

Anyway I do agree that RT often covers things our media doesn't and they clearly have a bias. Understanding all of that I do still sometimes watch it just to see what they are saying.
 

Politics becomes a problem when it involves American politics and ideology. Americans tend to be very partisan, trible and prone to 'othering' in an immature, snarky manner to the point of obnoxious.

As for RT, I've enjoyed reading their articles in the past. It was interesting to try to guess what their goals were in choosing one slant or another on an American issue. Post invasion, it's all propaganda.

I think the same could be said of some of our media... For different reasons of course.

I agree, I think most of us know well enough not to be mislead. It is interesting to see the Russian government's (Putin's) take on things.

My brother watches RT all the time until it was cut off. He told me about a certain country "U" supplying military equipment to a certain very rich country "S" who are using the equipment to kill people in a certain country "Y." See if you can figure this out and see if this post still stands. Names have been with held to protect the guilty.

Just to avoid any misunderstandings, I'd rather have that translated into a form more readily understandable by those who are intellectually challenged as I often am.
