Heating ……

This winter i upped it to 24c. Have always had it set at 23c. Must be an age thing.
AC in the summer, 23c,up until last summer, always set it at 22c.....that's too cool for me now.

Turn it down to 58 from 68 when I go to bed. In the morning turn it up to 66, when it reaches that temp I turn it back down. If the sun is out, which it usually is, the temp will be up to 68-72 from the passive solar gain, when I come in from the shop around 6:30-7:00 pm. The shop I have at 44F, and turn up to 60 when I'm working in there.

Used to be 69 in winter but a few months ago I increased it to 70, but that is for the whole house. When I was working I spent the day in a small room with a space heater on, so was approx 73. When I'd watch TV in the evening I'd be in several warm layers plus sometimes a blanket.
I've run the space heater in the bedroom a few times since I retired, since I'm not adapted to sitting around at 70.

Usually 74 for air conditioning in the summer.

I expect I'll turn it up as I get older (65 yrs old right now).

I keep it at 72 F/22C all the time. But I wear a sweater during the day.

BTW Harry Le Hermit, how do you make the "O" degree sign? Anybody know how to make a ''cents' sign?
Run charmap for full list, but here is a couple. "alt + 0176" = ° and "alt + 0162" = ¢. There are actually others as "alt + 155" will also get ¢.
