Besides Gray Hair, What Was (Or Were) Your First Sign(s) of Aging?

For me it was losing that energetic bouncy feeling.
Interesting reply, guess the same is true for me. I don't know when I lost it, just kind of snuck away I guess. But I do know I was much bouncier, particularly in the morning when I was younger. Had not really thought about it or realized it till I saw your post.

I was kidded by my Navy shipmates about my gray hair. I returned to civilian life when I was 25.
I had my first of 3 cataract surgerys when I was 42.

I'm so sorry for all you've been through MDB but so glad you are a fighter and survived all of it. I also admire the stamina you have now after all you've been through. You should feel very proud of yourself.

@officerripley My dear friend, my heart goes out to you when reading some of your posts. I wish things were better for you....you certainly deserve it!

Thanks, Diva. ❤️

Little signs that I wasn't as young as I once was have been showing up for decades, but none jolted me like turning 60.

When walking past or toward store with large windows I sometimes glimpse the reflection of an older woman and look around to see where she is because I didn't notice anyone walking nearby.
Oh crap. It's me...

Hey StarSong...also realized a few years ago they just weren't making mirrors like they used to!

For me it was losing that energetic bouncy feeling. I used to wake up with every morning, hit the snooze button, and make excuses for this or that part of my body not feeling great anymore. :(

Yes, that did it for me ... losing the bounce.. and the ability to walk at a fast pace (without aid)

I typically use a 1/4" drill bit then square the ends off for the dovetail to fit better. I hoped this helped.

When I renew my driver's license I have kept the old one over the years. The changing photo every 4 years tells the story.
Funny how when you get a license photo you think it's horrible, until you get the next one....than the old one isn't so bad. :)
