Former manson family member denied parole. Again

I highly recommend reading

"Helter Skelter: The True Story of the Manson Murders: Bugliosi ..

Helter Skelter: The True Story of the Manson Murders--Vincent Bugliosi (1934―2015), was the prosecutor of Charles Manson..........."

It's a great read, very well written and super interesting, IMO.
I read it when it came out. I also read Bugliosi's book: "The Reasons Why OJ Simpson Got Away With Murder."

Cannot imagine this considered public sentiment.... Parole seems like a crap shoot anymore

Man who buried school bus full of children for $5 million ransom approved for parole

No, No, NO-this guy should have been executed long ago.
Was the death penalty an option at the original trial?

Criminal Justice System is a joke in Texas-the court will plea bargain murder to avoid a trial, our courts plea bargain every case
they can , due to their court cases calendar being insurmountable-there is just too many of them.

This song sounds just like the homie who gets shot dead by the local dope dealers and the cops find a bag of 100 rocks in the pockets of his pants. Wa wa wa either the cops or the local crack dealers planted them rocks on my 40 year old son who is unemployed because he didn't graduate high school but he was studying to get his GED and dreamed of being a brain surgeon. He didn't deserve this because he was just turning his life around. Wa wa wa. Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.

BTW: A fair number of members here know about the fate of my oldest sister "GOD rest her soul" so I believe the families of the murder victims should decide the fate of the confused, brainwashed misguided killers.

Thanks for reading.

I thought kidnapping for money was a federal offense. He should've gotten state and federal charges and sentences. This guy was way too calculating. His act shows he thought about for a while planning and preparing.

The Chowchilla kidnappers are in their 70's. That is why they are being paroled - to save costs of their upkeep which increases with their ages.
That's why all elderly inmates are being released.

i've heard that before but by 70 they are or will be using medicare/medicaid anyway. Can't these states get reimbursed for some of the provided care.

Used to believe that cops were brave and true
Look at these cops on the TV Show 'COPS' they all look like Gestapo.
Cops are to arrest and jail, that may be true for beat cops but investigators---No! there like the DA, conviction is the only thing on their mind.

I hear you. Most of the PD's down here have replaced their Dodge Chargers for SUV's. Even the FHP. I guess the various law enforcement command staffs realized that the 100 mph+ car chases ending with the ever popular and spectacular PIT's killed more innocent people then the cops and bad guys combined. Nothing like never ever seeing a beat cop but a cop exiting his 4 wheeled tank wearing the black tac vest with like twenty magazine pockets.

What happened?
Homicide used to get you an appointment with the electric chair.

Come on jerry old. Don't you know that execution in the name of the people of: Fill in the State:______________________ is cruel and inhumane to the accused? An appointment with a shrink contracted by the defense attorney is the best option for an insanity plea? Da?

Well, I know folks in most states keeps these killers in jail for up to twenty year on appeals.

The comedian, Ron White says you guys can baby them if you want to, but in Texas we have an express lane!

Hey jerry old, you well know that Texas is no joke. White, Black, Latino, no matter the race or ethnicity they'll hook you up. One riot, one Ranger. Now that's absolutely "Bad A**".

Poor Leslie made a little mistake by being born in the good ole' USA instead of Canada. Here she might have got 2 years on parole for good behaviour and maybe a letter from someone telling her that they are sorry that she was mistreated. We try to be "kind" to our criminals. I believe that the philosophy is that criminals are misunderstood. This philosophy is something for sure that I don't understand. Sort of makes me think that my beloved country is "criminal friendly." No kidding. If you want to deal in illegal drugs do it here; don't do it in Singapore!
