Hot Air Balloon Crashes Into Freight Train in Burlington Wisconsin

What are the odds of this happening?! Boarding a train, one wouldn't consider being hit by a hot air balloon.

:(

Probably 9 gazillion times 10 to the 9th power since this occurred at night. Most hot air balloon malfunctions end tragically. Many outdoor coverage news crews have recorded the most heartbreaking crashes. I truly believe there is no more horrible death then when one strikes high tension power lines. Truly the worst.

Not that I'm an expert on this, but several times, my husband and I visited the wonderful Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. The final flight by the balloons was called Evening Glow or something like that, and it was at sunset. No more flights until the following morning.

Never mind if flying a balloon at NIGHT is legal; how are you supposed to see power lines, flag poles, steeples, etc, at NIGHT.
I'm sorry people were badly hurt, but I'd love to hear the tape when the train engineer called in that he ran into a balloon.
