Hello Folks,
My chihuahua & I are enjoying this day.
Saw a squirrel on the patio, so I guess
they're still about.

I have the same problem with the wood chips around my bushes in the front of the house. Squirrels are always digging holes in the chips looking for nuts. And I patiently repair all the holes, wondering when and how the little buggers got me trained! We have a bird feeder on the tree in our courtyard, not only for the birds but so our two cats can look out the window and be entertained. We also have rocks under the tree. Every morning when I go outside, the rocks are all over the place because the squirrels have been digging them up to eat the bird food that falls from the feeder. I'm always glad to put the rocks back in place because these little critters are so cute. We have them all over the place. Some can be downright domesticated.
How cute. He or she is a chubby little thing. I didn't know white squirrels existed.Toronto has a small population of white squirrels in Trinity Bellwoods park. The more common ones here are grey, or black. here is a short article about our Albino squirrels . link. All you need to know about white squirrels in Toronto (blogto.com) JimB.
Maybe just as well:Our squirrels have disappeared!
