Whether you knew or not, I'll give you: "Like Dreamers Do." It was written by Paul McCartney in 1959, so it can be justified as an original 1950's song. As can Patti Page with: "Dream a Little Dream of Me." Then there's: "Life is But a Dream, by The Harptones.

Did you know that the song: "Sweet Dreams," has been recorded by almost every man and his dog, but it was written and first recorded by country artiste Don Gibson, in 1955.

There must be many more, I will have to check them out on my record player:
