U.K. Woman electrocuted while vacuuming her artificial lawn has life saved by her Puma rubber sliders.

Was this an older home? I thought the U.K. required ground fault protectors... RCDs?

I don't like using electrical goods in the garden, however if I have to, I use a cable that is protected by and RCD. how that lady received a shock is a mystery unless there was a fault in the cable. European voltage varies slightly from country to country but all fall within the range 230Vac (+10%, - 6%).

transitive verb
1: to kill or severely injure by electric shock.

The woman was not electrocuted. Just sayin.'
Language is so hard. She was left with nerve damage in her arm, so she was 'injured' but I'm not sure how bad an injury has to be to be classified as 'severe'. If it happened to me I would agree with someone saying I was electrocuted.
