Hello all,
Found this site when looking for an online discussion/friendship forum so hope you won't mind my joining you.
I'm definitely 'senior' in that I turned 64 this year
or at least that's what my calendar told me; I believe it was replaced by someone with nefarious intent but alas my body and brain fog seem to confirm.
I enjoy music, reading, used to enjoy writing but haven't had the opporunity to do much of that lately, and I also used to enjoy walking except now I just sort of hobble and whenever I get to where I was going I forgot why I went there anyway so
I have various health issues (for which I take so many tablets that I rattle), suffer from chronic insomnia, share my abode with my lovely but maddening husband who constantly misplaces everything he owns, be it phone, car keys, wallet, whatever, am full time carer to my actual doddery mother who, although suffering some health issues of her own, is sharp as a tack and will not allow me to eat trifle in peace because she wants it all to herself and believes her advancing years entitle her to the privilege. As if. Hmpf. And finally, Queen of the Household, my 4 year old furbaby who has us all wrapped around her tiny and delicate but devious little paw.
So, that's me. Look forward to getting to know you.
