Still in use today for adjusting drum brakes. Wonder how much longer though since disc brakes are more popular.I don't know what those are but I wonder how many would recognize this tool.

Re: the two bars - Those look like the adjustable rails for hanging file inserts for filing cabinets.
I never heard it called that, but it makes sense. Was it ever called a "brake spoon?" My first husband (he died young) used to do most of the maintenance on our cars. I recall him using the term brake spoon, but I don't remember what it looked like.
I guess when you do a brake job it would be used for an initial adjustment. I haven't looked under my cars for years to see if the slot is still there.Still in use today for adjusting drum brakes. Wonder how much longer though since disc brakes are more popular.
Yep. I remember now, you got right. Thanks!Re: the two bars - Those look like the adjustable rails for hanging file inserts for filing cabinets.
Not sure, but I know I need some!Going through old tools...what are these for?
Mine has a radius on one end for pealing the keeper spring off the pins. They certainly look like pry bars but I will do a google image comparison search

I thought about chucking them, but, my Suzuki still has rear drums so I guess I'll keep them a while longer.I don't have the driver, but I do have the spring tool. I had forgotten about that.

I can't seem to throw away tools, even if I'm never going to use them again.
