A popular entertainer in the 60s when I was in the Air Force.

I remember his first show on CBS. Saturday nights had All in the Family, Bob Newhart Show, & The Mary Tyler Moore Show. The latter was my favorite of the 3.
 
The Bob Newhart Show: Remember the Grace L. Ferguson Storm Door and Airline? And who can forget "This is my brother Darrell and my other brother Darrell..." :D

Believe it or not, I had two brothers named Billy.
 
I remember seeing him when I was a kid on Ed Sullivan Show. My parents were still alive then and they really liked him and the comedian that always pulled at his tie and said he never got any respect. I can't remember his name. I wish those types of shows were still on TV. I think they were called variety shows.

Those types of shows, and those types of comedians would offend to many people today. We have lost our sense of humor.
