Is there any place where the rules of Senior Forums are posted ? I know to stay clear of politics , but there may be others. If so, what are they, please ?

@senior chef I believe 'problem posts' would be those which break the rule that "Politics is not allowed on this forum, political posts and threads that easily lead to political debate will be edited, removed or locked without notice." @Matrix has made it clear that Members who continually violate this rule may have their accounts terminated without notice.

If you adhere to this and ensure that any posts you make are not rude, abusive, insulting, trolling, sexually or racially offensive or inflammatory, vulgar or incite hate, or make personal attacks, you will be fine and need not worry about your account being terminated :)

Yes, I understand what you are saying.
I'd like to be able to start a thread that discusses human sexuality. NOT the ACT mind you, but the desire and the power of. I'd NOT mention body parts OR the verb, 'sexuality'. I'd merely be interested in discussing how sexuality impacts our daily lives. If you think that subject is too dangerous , then let me know, please.

There is nothing stopping you from posting whatever. How long it lasts, is another matter entirely. I doubt @Matrix reviews each and every post, but when something is reported, he will likely review it. Furthermore, he might very likely agree with the report, or decide to err on the side of caution, and poof!... it is gone. He may not be age wise eligible for the forum, but it would appear he can be as cranky as any of us.

Then there is this to remind any and all...

If he gets cranky it's because people aren't following the rules. he's ruled in part by Google who flag up inapporoprate words, and they have the power to shut this forum down . He spends a lot of his time and his money providing this forum for us seniors, to allow someone to continue to break the rules, and potentially have this forum cancelled.. so if people continue to break the rules, it's not surprising that they will be removed .., and just remember Matrix himself has the Option to close this forum completely in an instant.

Ah, ha. So, google could easily prohibit any serious discussion of human sexuality.
Too bad, cause I'd really like to engage others on that topic.

There's plenty other forums where that type of talk is permitted...
Exactly....people on here mostly stick to the mundane. There are members of differing preferences on here, so you need to tread carefully when it comes to sexuality.

The way you describe it I think you'd be ok here. A PM to Matrix might help. That's probably the right way to start.

You might end up on the Underground page of the forum, not the end of the world. https://www.seniorforums.com/forums/underground.69/

Google helps pay the bills, so keeping them happy is important.

Try it. See what happens. I’d definitely participate. If you keep to general statements rather than explicit details you could make it work.
