National Drink Beer Day - September 28th

I'll pass. I haven't drank beer since 2013. I have also eliminated soda from my life years ago. I also don't smoke. Beer, soda, cigarettes, that's a lot of wasted money, and it adds up after awhile. Maybe that is one of the reasons why some people were so strapped for cash during Covid. I wasn't and I missed some time testing positive. There comes a time when one needs to remove unnecessary tings from one's life. There hasn't been a day that I have missed either beer or soda.

A combination of National Beer drinking, Son, and Good Neighbor Day!

Yeah, I don't want to dampen the spirit for others, but for myself, I couldn't find a better way to wreck a celebration than drinking alcohol. I'm quite fine without it. And I've enjoyed the last 27 years since my last drink. But to anyone else I say, "Drink up if it helps."
