Fairly Normal Things You've Never Done?

I didn't go to my university graduation
I thought about it when I got my BS. Jack Ford, Gerald Ford's son was in the class and Ford was president and spoke at the graduation. Had I been closer I would have gone - now I regret not doing it.

It was interesting going to school with Ford's son. When we started his father was "just" a congressman from Michigan, no one paid much attention. That all changed when he first became vice and then President. Had a class with Jack at that time, we had secret service people in the class and at the doors. Lots of them on campus, kind of a sport to see how long it took to identify the undercover ones. Not too hard...

I use his first name. However, though we had classes together I am pretty sure he never knew who I was. I didn't know who he was until his father became Vice Pres.

You wouldn't want to if there's rooster nearby! He'd go after you and peck you. Happened to me once, years ago, in Greece.
Roosters take their hen protection job seriously. At DW's parents house in Vermont the rooster tried to come up behind me a couple times. Later he was seen chasing a couple boys down the street. Next time I saw him he was in the cook pot.

Twin Towers.
Only been to NYC a very few times. However once it was for several days of meetings in the Twin Towers, pretty high up, but I don't recall which tower or the floor. Stayed the week in the Marriott in the towers. Made 9/11 even more eerie.

I was able to contact one of the people I met with who had an office in the towers. All the people I met got out, thankfully.

It would seem half the uk women have visited NYC.. mainly at Christmas and mainly for shopping... ( including my DD)... I have never... so that's unusual for a British woman

I've also never visted the second most popular place in the USA for British tourists .. Disneyland/world
