I would definitely try that, @Mizmo
I wouldn't use plastic wrap, though, and especially not in microwave, as it says.
I would use the same glass fitting covers for the glass dishes, i use in it.
Or I would set a plate/dish on top of a glass bowl, if i had no fitted lid.
