Thanks, Warrigal; unfortunately there are no surgeries for my physical problems. The only "solution" I've ever heard offered is to pick different parents to be born to so that I would've been issued a different set of DNA, sigh.

Yes, I've heard that response from doctors as far back as 60 years ago. However, medical science keeps advancing. It is possible that there are new treatments that, even is not a cure, might be useful in alleviating symptoms. Always keep your mind open to the possibility of something new on the horizon.
