Word of the day: Golden Handcuffs

(Granted, this is a phrase rather than single word, but I've been seeing it frequently and checked into its meaning. I hope it's acceptable.)

Golden Handcuffs: (plural noun) Incentives that discourage employees from leaving companies.

The golden handcuffs of good health insurance plans, generous retirement benefits and flexible hours keep many stuck in jobs they don't actally like.
