Just heard on the news, Kanye West is buying Parlor...

Anyone know of this? Use?🤔

And who is Key West?
He's a rapper, producer, designer who was formerly married to Kim Kardashian. Kanye is worth $4 Billion, making him "the richest Black person in U.S. history" according to Celebrity Net Worth.

I've never gotten into his music but he's been nominated for 69 Grammys and won 21 of them. He's also credited with launching EGOT winner John Legend's career. Even with all his money and status in the industry, he's still doing weird things. Clearly he has mental issues. He's suffered from depression and had a nervous breakdown in 2016. He's been fairly open about his mental health issues. I think things escalated in that regard after the death of his mother.

Re the OP: I've heard not so good things about Parler but never investigated for myself.

Popularizing mental cases in this country?
This phrase really struck a chord with me. I like it.

I’ve been contemplating whether or not there is more mental illness in the world or if it is just more visible. I’m not thinking just at the national level but on a more local level. Even our small area has seen examples of mental illness on display.

I think the availability of social media, like Facebook, next door app, etc, gives a wider, more visible, platform to those dealing with mental illness and personality disorders.

Before social media your family, and maybe a few neighbors, knew you were mentally off. Now the whole world knows. And you’ve found others to reinforce your issues!

Yes, good post. I think in addition to this is the exposure to toxic stuff all our lives. The industrialization revolution brought with it many dangerous and very unhealthy pollutants. It feels like they are everywhere and in everything almost. I think it this has been a major reason for mental disease. Over decades these chemicals do damage to our bodies...nerves, tissues, brain cells...etc.
