As someone that has over decades carefully studied the Bible, and greatly wants and seeks eternal life as I greatly value existence, what is required for God's salvation if He and Jesus exist, is at best vague in scripture with conflicting verses that our numerous Christian religions endlessly debate. So even in this information era when so much information and research on the matter is available to anyone from books and the Internet, at best none of can have much certainty regardless of how convincing they sound about having special knowledge. Even if we live like supposed saints.
For Christians, the strongest evidence that eternal life existence is true are several direct statements by Jesus in the gospel of John. Beyond the basic extremely terse Ten Commandments, there are no how to guides clearly showing what behavior is and what is not ok especially regarding this modern science, information, telecom era when life is so much more complex. From what I lean towards, just considering basics that are rather clearly presented, sadly, very few today will make it through the narrow gate. Most people tend to be afraid to even think about any of this and instead are content to spout "they are a sort of good person that does nice things so why won't they get to go? (if such is possible) God probably has no moral logic that he needs to do anything, much less being fair for we Earth monkeys that seem to believe dogma we are at the center of the vast Universe.
Additionally from a science perspective, the most difficult issue is how it might be conceivably possible for we Earth DNA organic creatures to exist beyond death. Everything we logically understand points to dead is DEAD and gone eternally. Step on an ant and it is gone forever. Some will immediately blurt out that God can do so because their religion and their religious leaders relate God can do anything per favorites of theological philosophers, omniscience, omnipotence, and omnipresence dogma that God can do anything. Middle Ages created dogma that is supported by weak vague scripture that can be arguably viewed as self serving agendas of churches. And from that has arisen a whole industry of fabrication of how all that reach Heaven will be of some ultimate happy pleasant form beyond what we can imagine. Is not in scripture folks.
Now what this person uniquely speculates as someone that studies neuroscience and electromagnetic phenomenon, is that what we intelligent entities actually are as well as all higher animal life, is not the flesh, blood, and bones of our bodies but rather the complex oscillating electromagnetic fields (aka spirit?) inside our brains. And if so, some race of ancient ultimate intelligent entities may have figured out how to recreate those fields in impedance appropriate non-organic containers. They would certainly over infinite past time have enormous reason to do so, not just for we humans but also any other intelligent entities that have ever existed. Even Jesus clearly states, all must die before before being reborn into spirit existence.
I certainly have no secret voice telling me truth so can only speculate about these things given my personal knowledge and logic. Please don't depend on what I say but rather take such with a large grain of salt as possible. You want to begin to know the truth? Then read the gospel of John that I can argue is probably the only fully inspired part of the Bible.
