National Blue Jeans Day - December 5th

Alright this is one I can celebrate! There was a time when I lived in NYC, I used to where dress pants and shoes on regular basis. For years now, it's been just jeans and sneakers. The relaxed look.

I have plenty of Blue Jeans but they are not as tough as they used to be. I have other jeans for my tough jobs. As a kid I really liked the Blue Jean Jackets.

Once my off-hours attire, I now live in blue jeans, and would have to dig to find dress pants….
I wear jeans all the time. To the doctor's office even.

I got in the habit of wearing just Levis because of all the decades on a bike. They're the only style of pants that would keep the wind from being uncomfortable on my legs even at lower city speeds while on the bike.

I began wearing them all the all the time because I'd have to get out on the bike a few times a day for groceries, or after a phone call from a buddy wanting me to come over right then. It just didn't pay to keep taking off regular pants and changing to jeans each time a needed short trip came up.

Besides, at 88, I care less what anyone thinks of what I am wearing - or of my two-day old beard.

Jeans all the time and even fleece lined for winter.
