My stomach has been bothering me (chronic heartburn) pretty bad for the past couple of months just like it did back in the early 90's when my gastroenterologist sedated me and did a endoscopy and found that I had an ulcer.

During the followup visit after the endoscopy he ask me a lot of personality questions to confirm what he had already determined and that was that I was definitely a type 'A' who tend to have ulcers among other problems like heart disease.

Briefly I tend to be a tad short tempered, hard headed, impatient, aggressive, hard on myself as well of others, worry about the little things etc etc.....typical type 'A' personality but I am what I am.

I go back in this morning to see the gastroenterologist and I'd be willing to bet that he'll want another endoscopy done.

Personality wise are you a type 'A or type 'B'.

There may be several others available online but here's a A vs B personality comparison.

I'm a Type i (Infonerd). Seriously, I'm more of a Type B but unlike some Type B's, am not fond of Type A's. (I don't like telling anybody else what to do and dislike even more anybody telling me what to do.)
😧..hang on.. you hate meeeeeee ..lol... I'm a Type A in that I'm impatient, want everything done right now.. can be very hot headed and quick tempered , (not bad tempered)..but it's over in a minute.. I definitely don't tell people what to do.. but I do get things done, and Fast...

Don’t be so hard on yourself. It’s not what type you are it’s how you internalize things. First just except what you are and try to understand it. Getting caught up in it is what causes the internal stress.

Naw, I don't hate you, lol. I think like a lot of other things, there are different types of Type A's and B's.

yes that's true.. it's too easy to classify all with the same brush... but the truth is I am a high Achiever..I am impatient (extremely) , I am quick tempered ( not so much these days ,.. but if someone pushes my buttons I do respond fast).. .. I am someone who will react quickly to any kind of threat... I am someone who is highly competitive... but I'm also kind, generous, and adore animals and nature...

I'm not sure, I'm always worried and anxious. Someone here recommended Aloe Vera juice when my stomach was bothering me and it really helped. I got it at the health food store. The more concentrated one that said about 30ml dose (2 tablespoons) Costs ranged from 10-20 dollars a bottle. I got a cheaper one.

I'm sorry about your stomach pains. That's where my stress goes.

actually I am.. that's a fact.. but for the purposes of this thread.... it needed to be said..
I recall, in Riyadh, a senior manager stopped by my desk and asked a question that was beyond my purview, vis-a-vis the project,......I told him that I didn't know, being that I was just a humble lower level manager.

He replied "There is nothing humble about you".
