I've noticed that, as with Zodiac Signs, none of the classifications are described as "Total ****** that should be avoided at all costs".
You can find them on Reddit!I've noticed that, as with Zodiac Signs, none of the classifications are described as "Total ****** that should be avoided at all costs".
Oh, I wasn't looking for them, just noticed the absence of identification. You can find them on Reddit!
According to the Myers-Briggs personality chart you included here, @David777, I was tested a few years ago and came up with INFJ, which is the rarest personality of the 16. I think this is a more accurate view of our personalities than the Type A or B theory, but that's my humble opinion. Some truth in the type A versus B pop psychology narrative, however we humans are much more complex than to be simplistically categorized that crudely. If one web searches for personality charts, one will see many more categories created by more serious psychologists that actually have sophisticated tests to evaluate so. Even then, we are a spectrum of mixes of specific categories.
Unlike some thought decades ago, what we become is not rigidly based on genetics but rather due to neural plasticity, what we do and experience in life that then wires our brain, enhancing what it likes and repeats, degenerating what it doesn't like and ignores. The more a person acts, behaves, thinks, chooses, experiences in specific ways, the more such becomes who they are. Many impatient, impulsive persons became what they became due to their own choices, especially earlier in life before becoming adults. This is why given enough time and attitude adjustments, most of us are potentially able to change.
Some Type A's expose that tendency and lack of self awareness that makes them look foolish. When out driving in public, they may needlessly exhibit impatient emotional nonsense like aggressively tailgating a car in front of them on 2 lane highways in heavy traffic where everyone is stuck in position without a chance of any passing. Without consciously deciding so, in their sub-consciousness, they want everyone to know they are impatient so will sulk annoying innocent others just like immature kids.

Mine is "Why wait until tomorrow when you can postpone it indefinitely".My motto is "Why wait until tomorrow if you can get it done today."![]()

The doc put me on three 20 mg Pepcid tablets a day (have taken one at bedtime for many years) and told me to get regular Psyllium instead of the orange flavor because it contains citric acid.......have a followup visit in six weeks and if there's been no improvement then he'll do the camera down my gullet. My stomach has been bothering me (chronic heartburn) pretty bad for the past couple of months just like it did back in the early 90's when my gastroenterologist sedated me and did a endoscopy and found that I had an ulcer.
During the followup visit after the endoscopy he ask me a lot of personality questions to confirm what he had already determined and that was that I was definitely a type 'A' who tend to have ulcers among other problems like heart disease.
Briefly I tend to be a tad short tempered, hard headed, impatient, aggressive, hard on myself as well of others, worry about the little things etc etc.....typical type 'A' personality but I am what I am.
I go back in this morning to see the gastroenterologist and I'd be willing to bet that he'll want another endoscopy done.
Personality wise are you a type 'A or type 'B'.
There may be several others available online but here's a A vs B personality comparison.

Now you are worrying me. If this seems like a big deal, something you haven't figured out about yourself long before now, I will be glad to work with you. Clearly, something has been missing in your younger years.I wonder if this is a flawed force choice similar to, "Are you an introvert or extrovert?" Here's where we need further refinements with a sliding scale and more precise measuring tools. Clearly, this should be a bigger deal than it seems. Isn't retirement great? We now have the time to iron these issues out.

As far as jokes are concerned there are almost always the 'gotters' and the 'gottees'.Yes, some people never understood when I was joking.
I will risk it and say when you are speaking, your voice comes across as a bit sarcastic. In a good way.Yes, some people never understood when I was joking. I never got over it.
