Migrants are 'drinking all day,' 'having sex in the stairs' in taxpayer-funded New York hotels: whistleblower

An employee at Row, one of New York City's best known hotels, became a whistleblower Wednesday after he released video and photos of illegal immigrants trashing the hotel and leaving fresh food out to rot.

"The chaos that we see at the Row today is [caused] by migrants being drunk, drinking all day, smoking marijuana [and] consuming drugs," Rodriguez said.

He also said that the Row is struggling with "domestic violence" among migrants, young people "having sex in the stairs," and a fight between a migrant and a hotel security officer.

Rodriguez shared videos of fresh, "good food" sitting out to rot in trash bags because "the migrants don’t want to eat them."

"They said they don’t like it," he said. "This is all food that is going to waste. This is insane."

More than 36,400 migrants have come to New York City in the last few months and have been housed at just 14 hotels, according to Rodriguez.

That's from Fox "news" and written by an election denier. In other words, it's total B.S.

And part of the story is a feature from Laura Ingraham's show. She's a White Supremacist.

The vast majority of these immigrants have limited practical job skills, and little ability to communicate in English. It will wind up costing the taxpayers 10's of thousands per individual, per year....probably for several years...until they can "assimilate".
i've led projects with coders who could outwrite me under the table, been shoulder to shoulder cooking in high pressure kitchens, watch our crews lay mud on lathe like spreading butter. most were immigrants at one point or another all while teaching me a little about their lives and languages. people here don't know yet how hard it can really get... until when there's nobody to get the jobs done (right.)

I heard & saw this report on local news. Bags upon bags of foods. Hundreds. Why? Because the food is not spicy or hot like they are in the habit of eatings. I bet their "needs" will be provided for. In fact I'm positive. Let me be wrong. In the meantime F them.

I can assure you it's not BS here..it's fact. It's reported often enough in the Media, and people living near those hotels which have been paid by the Govt to close to the public and be used for illegal immigrants are reporting that their lives are made hell by the partying late into the night..

I have seen these reports on CBS and NBC as well.
I have, too... it's news. Of course every news entity is going to put their own spin on it, but that doesn't change the fact that it's happening and it's news. The way every stinking news story is turned political when being discussed is getting old fast. News is news. Of course Fox is going to spin it differently than CNN or Al Jazeera. I try real hard to look past the spin from all directions and simply find out what happened.

It is beneficial to watch all news before jumping on the band wagon. CNBC, ABC, CBS, BBC, CNN, Fox, BBC World, and others all report the same thing, different perspectives depending which one seems more sensational.

Then, if you have any, use your common sense and realize the real truth. Don't be a sheep.

a valid point about all the commotion. this behavior is common in crowds with commonalities. there's been arena events i've been involved with (skateboard competitions) where someone had to release the competitors as well as some of the fans and groupies from lockup.

you see this behavior in different social groups all the time like spring break or festivals. it's a rite of passage, their moment to celebrate their freedom.
or whatever.

anyway i woke up next to an 80 lb tank of no2 i supposedly married but that's another story.

well.. partying at 4am in a residiential area, when it's clear it's not a party area. Hanging around in intimidating gangs, during the day smoking drugs.. .. . Many older people in parts of the country where this is happening say they are terrified to go shopping because of the way these people are behaving..

That's not to mention the many fights these people are getting into using weapons , knives etc.. ...the type of behaviour that these areas are just not used to, because the Govt in their infinite wisdom, have housed these people in Hotels.. instead of sending right back on the boats they illegally arrived in...

This thread reminds me that in the 1950s Australians of British descent like my parents complained bitterly about the continental delicatessens. They objected to the smell of garlic and the salamis hanging up in the shop. They could not believe that anyone ate raw cabbage and were astonished by sauerkraut.

Later the same objections were made about the smell of curry wafting out of flats occupied by families from the subcontinent.

Sydney is a gateway city for immigrants and where I live that is particularly true. Each wave of new migrants bring new customs and new cuisines. It takes them a while to blend in but their children and grandchildren become our children too. Cities like Sydney and Melbourne offer restaurants featuring what was once exotic food and they are very popular with us 'dinkum Aussies'.

..but Warri.... Migrants are one thing, they come to work and live among the indiginous folks ... but illegal Migrants , are a complete other kettle of fish..

Lots of cultures don't eat "fresh" (raw) vegetables. Shouldn't whoever is providing the food know this?
It seems to be things like bagels, sandwiches, etc. being thrown out/wasted. And (someone correct me if I'm wrong, please) I think many of NYC's migrants are from the millions fleeing Venezuela... and I do believe they incorporate fresh produce into their meals. Not sure what culture wouldn't be glad for sandwiches and bagels, especially if it's free food.

@hollydolly

Illegal doesn't always mean unworthy.

One of my great grandfathers was an illegal immigrant from England.
His parents had a cottage in Brixton.

He jumped ship in Sydney in 1872 from HMS Dido (a naval ship) and married an Australian woman.
Reading the police gazette from that time, he was one of many. There was a £3 reward for anyone who turned him in to the authorities but he escaped to capture and produced four sons, including my grandfather who served in the Boer War and WW I with distinction.

that may well be... but currently in the UK the illegal Immigrants who are arriving daily by Boat.. are causing huge problems

It is a curious thing that when Soviet era Russians would defect to the West and ask for asylum they were welcomed with open arms no matter how they arrived. The paperwork was expedited to allow them to stay. The Girl in the Red Bikini is a case in point - Red Bikini Girl (1979) – Nostalgia Central

People fleeing persecution in Myanmar or China have been held in immigration detention. Heavily pregnant women have been deported from Australia to China, knowing that the pregnancy would be forcefully terminated because they already had the one child permitted under the One Child Policy.

It is clear that some 'illegal' immigrants are acceptable and others are rejected, yet both groups have the potential to contribute to society if given a chance.
