As @Gardenlover said, the bottom of the cabinets would get wet and deteriorate, pretty quickly, I think.
I'm sure they put a silicone covering or something on them, but even then . . . . .

I wouldn't have it in my bathroom. It's just a bit too much for my tastes. My bathroom is too small for something like that anyway.
