Macaroni, like all pasta, contains milled wheat, water, and occasionally eggs and/or optional ingredients. Pasta manufacturers typically use milled durum wheat (semolina, durum granulars, and durum flour) in pasta production, although farina and flour from common wheat are occasionally used. Preservatives are added, these are sodium benzoate (SB) and potassium sorbate (PS) It also contains glyphosate, a herbicide. It's applied to the leaves of plants to kill both broadleaf plants and grasses.
Sounds really healthy! The best pasta is of course, that which you make yourself, it can be time consuming but at least you know what you are eating.

How can they advertise something as vegan if it contains cheese? are they using some sort of fake soy cheese?

A lot of people think anything marked vegan is healthy and it's just not true. For years Lays regular potato chips have existed. Unmarked vegan but they are. Healthy, heck no but they sure are good.

A lot of the vegan cheeses are made with coconut oil and many of the ice cream subs are also. I miss the days of the crappy soy based stuff. I can only find one soy based ice cream in my town anymore.

I really like homemade baked macaroni and cheese. I get it maybe twice a year and I enjoy every noodle.
