Found his niche and worked off of that. Ironic I caught last week's L & O SVU and they mentioned the character almost like they knew he was in his days. He didn't look well on an appearance several years ago.

Not quite sure about his last words other than mentally he didn't want to go but his body did.

But a distinctive actor.

I always enjoyed his character and his stand up. The character Munch helped expand the "Tommy Westphall Universe" by bringing shows such as X-Files, The Simpsons into that Universe

Little known fact - Richard Belzer and Henry Winkler are cousins - Yup, The Fonz and Munch are related — Belzer appeared in Winkler's 1982 film Night Shift and Winkler guest-starred in an episode of Law & Order: SVU in 2002.
