Richard Belzer passed today at age 78

He and that other actor who died some years ago. Those two were good actors.

Found his niche and worked off of that. Ironic I caught last week's L & O SVU and they mentioned the character almost like they knew he was in his days. He didn't look well on an appearance several years ago.

Not quite sure about his last words other than mentally he didn't want to go but his body did.

But a distinctive actor.

RIP

I always enjoyed his character and his stand up. The character Munch helped expand the "Tommy Westphall Universe" by bringing shows such as X-Files, The Simpsons into that Universe 😉

I didn't know they were cousins:
Little known fact - Richard Belzer and Henry Winkler are cousins - Yup, The Fonz and Munch are related — Belzer appeared in Winkler's 1982 film Night Shift and Winkler guest-starred in an episode of Law & Order: SVU in 2002.

May be an image of 2 people

It does leave a sadness in us when a well known and liked person dies. It's hard to think they are gone forever, having enriched life for others.
I can never remember the man's name that played on the Sopranos. James something that played Tony.
