Shopping for a Nightgown

Deb, the idea of shortening the sleeves is a good one. Even if you don't own a sewing machine, I assume you can do some hand sewing and if you can't YouTube can help.

I've bought pants at the thrift store and cut them into shorts to wear around the house in the summer. That and a tank top is what I wear indoors all summer. Not out and about though.

Suggestion if you are going looking in Target or Walmart,,, look at the men's ware.
Long sleeve T- shirts,, flannel shirts should on sale.

Pick a size that looks like it will fit, hold it to your chest / shoulders.

So what if the sleeves are too long,, take them home & cut sleeves to length you want.
You do own a a pair of shears?

Check the Dollar stores ,,might find something there.
That's exactly what I was tempted in to doing. I held up a large sized men's pendleton flannel shirt, thinking I could wear it as a nightgown. It was only $12.
I'd already reached my purchase limit, so I put it back.
But, what a great buy!

@debodun I have an eBay account. I would be happy to buy them and send them to you and you can reimburse me?
