At least in our courtyard. Our landscaper changes out all of our potted plants seasonally. We have drips in the pots to keep them watered. I look forward to new scenery every Spring and Fall.

He has a great eye for design. The tall plants in the foreground are hibiscus and they already have orange blooms coming in. He outdid himself this time!

Your patio looks like a lovely retreat!

That’s beautiful. What do you have that grows up the lattice? Those big pots are very nice. Hibiscus is a lovely plant but wouldn’t last the winter here. You must be in a warm garden zone.
I'm not sure what our landscaper planted to grow up the lattice. We had Carolina Jasmine on all three and only the outside two survived our 11 degree F temps last winter. I'm going to ask him to replace the outside ones as well.

The Hibiscus won't last past fall. We will have the plants replaced again. We get a few freezing/below freezing days each winter.

Thank you! Yes. There's two. One is dark purple and a lighter one blooms after the first is finished.
Carolina Jasmine. I bet that must small heavenly while in full bloom. Even the name sounds heavenly but if they aren’t winter hardy, I can understand wanting them replaced and you really can’t go wrong with clematis. That’s a wise Gardner you have to pair two clematis together in the same cutting group on one trellis. That must look stunning. Either way I think you have excellent taste
