What have you bought recently?

I've been doing so much shopping lately, online and in brick and mortar stores. My idea of not buying anything from Amazon for at least a month did not work. :) My tablet case was falling apart so I got a new one in this bodacious red that makes me happy every time I see it. It was only one of the ones I found for my 2018 model. I also bought two half slips, Nubian Heritage (NH) Coconut Papaya and Shea Moisture Coconut lotion, which I'm trying for the first time since I can no longer find my favorite... NH Mango Butter. And as if Amazon knew I had been thinking of buying them, these popped up under suggestions..a pack of 12 microfiber cloths. I'll have enough to share with my son.

I not only didn't spend any money, I can't spend any for the next two days because DD's car is in the shop, DSIL has all-day meetings a zillion miles from home tomorrow and Wednesday.

DD will take me to work Wednesday, and Sir will run me home.

Maybe Thursday...

ETA: Update! DD got her car back already so I'll be Walmarting and also perusing the offerings at Lowe's. I. Will. Spend. Money. You heard it here first. Stay tuned...

First I bought a bunch of dirt for my garden plot. I really wasn't planning on it but there was a new-gardener-orientation this morning and I asked one of the master gardeners her advice on whether I should remove the empty planter frames from my plot and she surprised me by taking me over to the guy everyone hires and telling him I needed soil, and he was very willing to go get it (for a fee) and so now I'm expecting a lot of dirt to show up and be put in the frames for me.

Then, I'd signed up for the woodshop class on Vcarve (I think that is what it is called, related to using some sort of machine that laser engraves wood apparently), and they sent out an email asking people to bring their Windows laptops with them to class (they emphasized that the software required having Windows). But but but...I don't have one, I've been using just a Chromebook since I sold my house and got rid of my ancient Windows desktop last year. So I quick ordered a cheap one ($189) from Amazon. Price sure is a lot less than I remember from the old days, I hope it really is a Windows laptop.

I bought a new kettle; it's a lovely shade of duck egg blue and is very good at boiling water :). Unfortunately, I am going to have to go back tomorrow and buy the matching toaster ;)
I love Duck egg blue. Until recently I had a duck egg blue retro kitchen clock . I gave it to the charity shop cuz I got fed up not getting the correct time due to the battery running down.. and changed over to Radio controlled clocks ..but I had it for several years..loved the colour

Well. I did it. Really only spent $62.69, but came home with $162.69 outta my checking account because I bought $100 in cash. What did I get for $62.69? A new pair of jeans for one thing, and some kitty treats for Maggiecat, a package of AA batteries, denture cleaner. The jeans were badly needed. I really should have bought two pair because finding my size is an adventure all by itself. Maybe next week.

The flowers and seeds from Lowe's don't count because I used a gift card. There's still $30 left on it. Yay.

@Trish Nothing unfortunate about that. I mean, you wanna have stuff match, right? And I like that color a whole bunch.

Absolutely. We are currently living with the embarrassment of having a colour clashing toaster and kettle! I have pulled the blind down so as not to alert the neighbours to this faux pas  In the meantime, if everyone could please keep schtum, no one need ever know ;):)
