What have you bought recently?

A shower curtain and soap saver. Also, a small clothes storage container with 7 compartments. They’re designed so you put in your sweaters standing up. I’ve seen these online and wondered if they’ll be handy or a nuisance.

My five weekly haircut. Six weeks is just too long.

Not counting the groceries I bought this morning (including mint chocolate chip ice cream 😛 ), I placed a few Amazon orders in the past few days. I bought another half slip (have to return the other one due to size), 100 pack of 9 x 12 (4 mil) bags that I use for Deja's waste. I bought a pet brush but there was a problem with delivery so Amazon canceled the order. I got Deja more of these mylar crinkle balls too...she absolutely loves these things but the smaller ones get lost under stuff within minutes it seems.

I also bought 6 more of these lotions because they are just as thick and rich as my favorite Nubian Heritage lotion which is no longer available. The lotion does not pour out when you hold the bottle upside down. They will last me more than a year and a half. I decided to try their body wash too (bought one) because Shea Moisture products are less expensive than the Nubian Heritage products I've been buying and are products I also trust.

I ordered a nonslip loofah-type mat for our RV. Despite the shower floor being slightly pebble-textured, it's still a little slippery. We'll try the mat in our master bath's shower first. If we like it, I'll order a couple more for the showers in the house.

Balance becomes a near universal problem as people get older and it would be arrogant to presume DH & I will be exceptions. Shower mats have been on my list of things to buy for a while.

When you’ve used it, will you let me know what brand and what you think of it. It’s time for us too.
Waited until DH & I used it several times before reporting. We both like it well enough that I just pulled the trigger on two more to cover our other showers.

No idea but they are rare thing around here...Last week they had none in ASDA,Iceland,Home Bargains ,Heron Foods or Poundland.
Got half a dozen in ASDA yesterday...but they didn't have the 15 pack I usually buy(been a month now)...and finally some arrived in Home Bargains today.

..yes It's no fun at all as you know from your sister who was doubtless a very active person like me... . I don't need it all the time, but I have to have it on the occasions when the pain is very restricting ..
My sister resisted using a cane for a while but eventually accepted that she needs it periodically. She has an elegant air about her, just as you do, and I told her that the cane does not detract from it at all.

mine looks to be about the same size. It’s list as 5 cubic feet. Will go on the corner of my laundry room. Mine will probably mostly house the blueberries from our bushes in June
