How many tongue piercings do you have?😊

Back in the 1950s, a guy wearing earrings would have kept him out of the service. Today, with studs and peircings on eye brows, lips noses, ears, and tongues, it's hard to even notice earrings. When we were kids, the only people ,who were so decorated, were isolated just discovered backwoods tribes. Now, it's your son-in-law.
What do you think of all the earrings, studs and peircings?

I accept that some people like tongue piercings, but I would worry about the pain, the infection risk, and how it would interfere with eating. Apparently the tongue is well numbed beforehand (I spoke to a guy years ago who had recently had one done) but when the numbness wears off? Ouch!! 👅

Edit: just to ad that I personally have no piercings or tattoos... and no plans to get either.

I don't find multiple piercings very attractive. Face piercings and earlobe-stretching piercings are especially disturbing. Tongue piercing makes no sense to me. 🤪 Some people feel as though they're adorning themselves. I would feel like I was desecrating myself.

I only have pierced earlobes. One piercing on the right and two on the left. I first had them pierced when I was thirteen years old, with my mother's permission. In fact, she took me to the doctor to have them done. When I was twenty-two, I had the second piercing on my left lobe done. At one point, I considered a bellybutton piercing, but that was fleeting when I thought about what it would look like when I was older. Even if no one else saw it, I would. So, no.

One piercing to each ear lobe, No tattoos, no other piercings anywhere else. When I was a young woman a female with a tattoo was considered a tramp, and more than just the one piercing to each ear lobe was never even thought about at all.
A friend was talking about getting another piercing, one that would show, when I rather dryly suggested a bellybutton piercing. She did it! Worse, she tells people she did it because I suggested it.

For some reason I actually physically recoil when I see some tongue and face piercings. I just can not get used to them and am trying very hard not to judge but for some unknown reason, I have a really strong negative viseral reaction...I am working on it...but I am having trouble accepting...

I don't care one way or another.
