Does your cat do this?

 No, thank goodness! But he will knock down on the floor to play with, or steal from the table in his mouth things like pencils, pens, Chapsticks, etc. They all end up under the stove or refrigerator. We used to keep the pens on a little cute collector plate that had a puppy and a little mouse on it, but now that we have a pup in the house, I had to put them in a small glass.

I love it, I thought I was the only one. While Sophie the dog will whisk stuff with her tail it's accidental. Mr Foot knows EXACTLY what he's doing. It doesn't help that he's terrier sized. He's banned from our bed after knocking books and clock down from the headboard. Or I'll be brushing my teeth and he'll jump on the sink.
"Pet me human"
His tail knocks down two shampoo bottles
"You there I said pet me"
A tube of face scrub and the clippers clatter into the sink
"Attention must be paid!"
He leaps to the facing shelf and sets off a shampoo bottle domino effect. Then he lays on the shelf, maybe swipes at me as I pass by. Some cats hate being ignored.

Luckily Mao doesn't seem to be the swiping type anymore - not since roomie finally learned to keep food out of reach.

He DOES dig holes in the carpet by the front door, though - like he's trying to escape Stalag 13.

Hey we could get Mao and Callie together for their own excavating company. Callie digs craters in the yard, you could hide a cow in one of his holes.

I had two toms, Mike & Pete. Both made piles of stones on the steps to my house. On th back steps, there was this piles of stones?? So, I get rid of them. A few days later, they were back. Threw them out- and they were back!!!! This time when I went to toss them, Pete was there. He got all hot and bothered-meowing, and pacing around the stones. He was very upset. They were his stones. I couldn't figure out how he got the stones onto the steps. They were way too big ( bigger than a golf ball) to put in his mouth????? And he doesn't have hands???? Years later, I caught Mike curled around a similar pile of rocks on the steps.

Our outside cats can knock over all they want. The only real nuisance they pose is digging up where I just planted in the garden. But some chicken wire solves that problem.

But at one time we had an inside cat that knocked things over, including a can of oil based paint. And dug a hole in my basement dropped ceiling too!

Reminds me of the Siamese-From-Hell triplets that my daughter had years ago.

Two of the little psychos would not tolerate *anything* on a table, shelf or mantle. It all had to go. They'd work together if necessary.

In the middle of the night, there was a horrendous crash from the office, which had been left open accidentally. Laying on the floor was the computer monitor, keyboard AND big tower and sitting by them, washing themselves nonchalantly and smugly were the two demons. If they could have, they would have been smirking. They didn't even have the chutzpah to try to blame it on the dog.....not that there WAS a dog......

The cats from Hades....

I had a female cat named Walter who loved change on the table. She sit there and shove each quarter, dime, nickel and penny off. It gave her a sense of fulfillment. She never knocked things over, just had an thing about change. Outside, she was a rock carrier too. RIP Walter.
