Got a double dose of bad news in last couple weeks

Learned a few weeks ago my sis in laws' cancer has returned..in her brain now. Not good for her. She, and my niece, Julie were prepping to leave on a cruise to Italy..one last trip together. The today, the day they were due to leave my nephew..Julies brother, had a major stroke. He is only 63. I am just at a great loss here. I guess it is on his right side. Not a lot of news on Gerry yet.

New is that Gerry had surgery last night, and came through it well. His right side is paralyzed. He is off the breathing tube. We will not know extent of permanent damage until he can be better assessed.
