OMG, RR, this took me back to my teen age years. I was about 14 or 15 and had just come home from a school dance. I'd get ready for bed and this came on the radio. Well, I was all set to listen to all hours, when my mom came in, turned the radio off and said good night in a tone that meant, you're too young to stay up half the night listening to music. Thanks for posting this.

Lois, that song preceded a TV movie program when I was little. We lived on a hill and took in all the NY stations and I think it was one of those. It's a sound that's one of my earliest memories. I'm so glad it resonated with you too!

Maybe I'm getting this song confused with what I heard on the radio to a TV movie channel.....
