First TV show I ever saw, had to go to a neighbor's house to watch, we had no TV.
A real classic, in the first few seconds immediately recognizable. Often used.
This music always scared the crap out of me when the show ran on TV between 1959-1961. By the way, the original title of the series was Alcoa Presents: One Step Beyond. When it was cancelled, it was replaced with Alcoa Premiere. It bombed and didn't last a season.
Been a long time since I listened to that one. Just noticed for the first time that as hearing the words "fought for American to make all Americans free" he's shooting an Indian... Not sure you could use it today.
