This video of the ship is a little out of focus but it explains a lot about the ship and more.

The news article has very good pics...and a BUNCH of comments. 🚢

Wouldn't go on that tug! Wouldn't like the crowds, the line-up for boarding or leaving the ship. Don't gamble and don't like everyone sticking their hands out for tips! Bigger is not better. Cruise ships are one of the biggest causes of global warming. I prefer to travel by car.

I'd rather go camping in a pup tent and eat MRE's than be stuck trapped in the middle of nowhere on that frightening, over-crowded, floating nightmare circus monstrosity.

Along with all the accommodations, they also offer passengers Forty Ways To Die.

... a 7 day cruise on that would be like being stuck in Walmart 24/7 at Christmas time with continuous moonlight madness sales,
blue light specials or what ever Walmart has these days. Madness. No thanks

Can't even imagine how eight thousand, or however many, people would ruin a good port visit when docked.

I can only equate it to my time in the Navy. Port visits were MUCH better on small ships.
When stationed on an aircraft carrier with five thousand sailors, the locals would head for the hills until we left port.

That is a monstrosity...doesn't deserve to be called a ship.
I have been on two cruises in my time and enjoyed both of them.
Sightseeing when we docked in areas of Europe and The Caribbean and back to the tranquility of the ship.
Of course these were way back in the 90s.

The video seems to be the voice version of the op article.

Of note the cheapest ticket is $1,800 for seven nights.

Did I see an ice skating rink? On a ship traveling in the tropics.
