I have issues with their privacy policy. Your personal information will be shared "everywhere" and with "everyone". You may start receiving tons of spam email. Probably tons of snail mail catalogs. Wouldn't be shocked if exposed to credit card scams ...

Yes, I tend to agree that their business tactics are somewhat scary however I have ordered from them twice. One item I kept and the other I sent back and they paid for the shipping. That was years ago so I don’t know if they still do that. I REALLY HATE the hassling spamming emails that they will keep sending you. Even looking at things on their site will have them sending you reminders.
I prefer Amazon. Even Amazon was a hassle until I got prime. The free shipping alone is worth it for me and their return policy is awesome.

My dad used to say, if they advertise a lot on TV don't bother. I think he meant they can put so much of their company's money into advertising because they don't need to spend much on the products they sell.

My son has bought furniture from them and an overstuffed easy chair for me & their stuff seems to last. My grandson jumps on my chair & it's still standing & comfortable! Looks good too. I like Kelly Clarkson so I like the commercials.

I've only bought one item (a pair of stainless steel drink coasters) and they arrived with one all scratched up; and it was packaged so that you know it didn't happen during shipping to my house; it must have been put into the box like that which annoyed me. But I didn't bother to send it back, just didn't feel up to it, just decided not to buy from them again.

In the UK I think Wayfair might be different from the US... but anyway..I have bought a lot from them over the years..but no more, because their prices are much higher for the same goods I can buy elsewhere..plus..every time I look at their website.. the vast majority of stock is 'out of stock''... very frustrating..

As an aside..one of their drivers smashed into my car and didn't stop.....and this was one hour before the buyer for my car was coming to collect it.. absolutely true story... I called Wayfair immediately within 5 minutes of seeing him hit my car..and they absolutely refused to admit he did it.. or take responsibility for it...

If you had demanded Waywair give you the license and name of the driver, you could have gone to the police and/or insurance companies so they could track him down. You witnessed a hit and run.

My sister in law has purchased items from them. Mostly furniture that I've seen.
I've never heard her say a bad word/or complaint about them.

I did demand it.. they refused to admit it was one of their drivers... and like I say literally the buyer of my car was coming to view it less than an hour later..I'd just cleaned the car inside and out ready for the buyer.

The driver took a whole wing off my car... and I totally expected when the purchaser came he would reject the car..I had to drop the price by £500 for him to agree to take it..fortunately he was a car mechanic..and he bought it anyway, but as far as Wayfair is concerned they can do one ..

No. If I need to buy a small furniture item or shelf or something, I like to use Walmart and sold by Walmart. Then I can return it to a store if anything arrives broken. I guess same with Target. I got a folding laundry rack from Target. But I didn't need to return anything.

I bought a lamp from Wayfair recently. Love it. Other stuff I've seen on their website? Kinda spendy compared to the same or similar products at, say, Amazon.

In other words..... everybody.

I bought a couch from Wayfair about 4 years ago. Paid just under $900 for the most uncomfortable thing I've ever sat on.

Delivery was a major issue, too. Two guys in a flatbed truck unloaded the couch and the wood pallet it was strapped and screwed onto, set the whole thing down right on top of a community flower garden near the back door (of my old apartment), and just walked away.

In fact, one of them gave me the over-the-shoulder stink-eye when I said, "Really? You're just gonna leave it there like that?"

I had to get help from a couple of neighbors to remove the factory wrap from the couch, unscrew the straps from the pallet, and carry the couch inside. Then I had to dismantle the pallet so I could toss it into the community dumpster, and then I replaced the pansies those guys ruined.

That part I didn't have to do....management didn't insist or anything, but I had to look at that little garden every day. Plus I just felt bad about it.
