Classic cars from our generation

Oooh, that's a beauty! Pictures never work right for me when I try to post them here unless it's a YT video, but if I could do it, I'd do one a year older for my birth year... best car ever: 1957 Chevy! I can't remember what colors they came in, but I remember one of them was really pretty.
I'll post one for ya

Not this car but same color and all ... car my parents had when I was in the first and second grade. 1956 Oldsmobile Super 88.
I accidentally left an orange crayon on an armrest in the back seat ... it melted

Not this car but same color and all ... car my parents got after my dad hit a cow in the Oldsmobile one dark night.
1960 Cadillac Coupe DeVille ... had a 500cu.in. engine. Would go fast effortlessly and drank gas.

Both very cool cars

Todays cars just don't have the class & style of the cars from our era.
Cars were bold with lots of chrome, tailfins, character, and they just looked cool.
Show pics if you got 'em
If any of them bring back memories you care to share, feel free
My husband used to race his cars before I met him, pics in post #15 on this old thread. Some of those classics were really cool.

The Cadillac developed a problem where it wouldn't crank back up after being shut off, until it had sat and cooled a while.
My dad suspected a fuel vapor lock of some sort. Neither he nor the Cadillac dealer got it figured out.
We needed something reliable and dad got himself a Chevy pickup truck and mom a Chevy Impala.

Yeah, it kinda sounds like vapor lock.
