My Son's friend was murdered

A few days ago a boy my son grew up with was murdered.3 Guys were trying to steal his car and one of them shot him in the head. For the first time, I am happy that his Mom and Dad have already passed away and don't have to feel the pain of losing a child. I have been crying all day.
 

Three thugs abducted, robbed, and attempted more but my cousin fought to her death. Some people contribute to society while others contaminate it and inflict pain on the innocent. It is something no one ever gets over but reach out to your local community for support. I wish had something intelligent to help you but all I can say is to do what you need to honor his life and take care of each other in this sad time.
 
Oh Sassy...that is horrible! I'm so sorry you and your son have to go through this. He must be feeling terrible right now. Like you, I feel it's a good thing his parents are gone. I can't imagine the depth of the pain parents and others who loved and cared about the victims feel. May your son's friend R.I.P.

So sorry that the senseless criminal activity of these loser thugs has impacted you, your son and all others that knew this man šŸ˜¢ As you already indicated, it's a rather strange blessing that the man's parents have already passed and therefore will not have to suffer what can only be described as unimaginable torment.

Be kind to yourself and do what you can to help your son get through his grief as well šŸ™

A long time friend of my brother is a retired police chief, and he says that when police see video of a crime, it gets them more fired up and motivated than just hearing the report of a crime, because, while watching it, they can place themselves there. Plus, they see the perps rather than have to rely on witness descriptions.
 
My heart goes out to you. May God comfort you with a peace that passes all understanding as well as for your son, and the victim's family during this most difficult time...and give you strength. May He surround all of those grieving with love and support from friends, family, and community. This is disturbing beyond measure.
 
Sorry for your lose. Seems it was a case of "wrong place at the wrong time." World population increasing, crime is up all over the world but some are screaming for police to be defunded. Sometimes things and people in this world just don't make any sense anymore!
