I had no idea that the smoke had reached Georgia!!! It seems like it's everywhere!

We noticed driving home from Savannah yesterday how smoky it is… usually driving west in late afternoon, you can’t hardly see for the sun right in your face but there was so much smoke, you could see the outline of the sun but it was opaque. Bad air quality here

Headed to OKC (30 miles north) shortly for my once every six months eye exam with my ophthalmologist.......no flashes in a couple of months but I've still got my buddy the spider shaped floater slinking around in my left eye, I've named him Spidey.

Walked the dog, answered telephone,, walked over to wood pile.,to tell to hubby about the call.

Morning all.....I'm waiting on tv cable guy at noon, see if he can get this
new tv on cable reception....slept badly again last nite, think mostly due

Shucks,, guy didn't buy the tractor!
Still have 2 for sale.
One has steel wheels on it as hubby had been clrearinf fields that were full of thorns.

Other tractor is 1947 Farmall Cub , which according to the guy that didn't buy it needed work done on it.

I will be going to my quarterly oncologist doctor visit soon in Dallas. I am sure not looking forward to it, not expecting bad news just the drive there and back home. Going on 6 years "C" free still.

Well..I got some gardening done.. the garden waste bin was emptied today, so that gives me more space to get rid of more cuttings..

Also today..I cleared out a 'junk drawer'... it wasn't really junk it is all useful stuff, and all in separate Ikea Skubb boxes in the drawer... but in truth... the stuff is soo old... or hadn't been used for years , and so on..like 4 key chains... boxes of needles and threads.. staple guns, office equipment of various types.. photographs, tape measure..not one but 3.... old credit cards from here and Spanish banks.. and so on and so fifth ... Anyway it took an hour, and the drawer is now all organised again... but in truth I have to organise more drawers.. not junk, but clothing ...

I've also got a dedicated Tech drawer which has all the cable, chargers, Keyboards, Ipad, kindle, old mobile phones and all that stuff, which needs to be sorted into a keep or toss bin..

My colonoscopy is done and everything was okay (in spite of the cologuard test having scared me half to death by reporting that I was 'positive'), and I don't need to be checked for another 10 years. Yay!

They used the type of anesthesia that killed Michael Jackson. I liked it, one minute I was cozy under the blankets and the next I gently woke up in the recovery room.

Whew. DD and I went Walmarting and to the garden center. That little excursion just about wiped me out. Heat combined with humidity and with wildfire smoke thrown in for good measure isn't a good idea.

First thing in the morning I've got garden stuff to do before it gets hot. It's not fun stuff like planting flowers, though. Deadheading and cutting back the daylilies. Ugh. If I can muster the strength, I'm gonna dig up some of the daylilies because they're encroaching on the iris on one side and other flowers on the other side.

Tell me. Whose bright idea was it to plant all these darned perennials? Hm? Whose?

Today is a day of reckoning, I am getting the results of an angiogram.
I guess it's time to become a bit more aware of my mortality.
I hatched a plan to be immortal it's basically so far so good...

All the balcony tiles lifted and banished to the dungeon locker.
I intend to forget all about them.
Body is achier than usual but not complaining. A good job done when I thought I couldn't!
Tomorrow I will spend the day doing my favourite thing. Yes you know it.
Got some nice shrimp crackers to munch and some good stuff recorded on telly

The balconies are being completely redone. There will be four phases to it and the first for my unit up and down will be in a few weeks. I just thought I should get going on it the days I felt I could , so I did but I must say I surprised myself at getting it done so quickly.

Since it's just past midnight, technically this is for yesterday. I thought I had posted this.
~Middle of the night trip down to the laundry room to wash my dark clothes.

~Started drying the clothes earlier than usual. I napped off and on while they were drying but made sure to wake up in time to take them out immediately. I hung some to eliminate the need for ironing.

~Deleted more of the ton of photos my grandson sent me from his Grenada trip. He must’ve photographed and videoed everything!

Good morning! Today is ! It's almost daylight so first thing will be to start the sprinkler to give the flowers and (dying) lawn a good soaking.

Don't know how much will get done in the garden because...heat. At 5:30 it was 80. I don't know why the heat here is such a big deal this year, but the more it's talked about on the news, the hotter it feels! We haven't hit 100 once yet, which is unusual for us.

Semi overcast here,..Gigi.... 72 degrees... I was going to go swimming today.. being as the kids break up from school tomorrow it wil be my last chance of being able to swim in non kiddie soup.. but it's a 40 mile trip...and being semi-sun not really worth it
