Situations arise like a group of men or women go travelling and keep the price of hotels down by sharing a room and even a bed. Not everyone can bring themselves to do it though - I don't think I could share with another woman, even a good friend.
My husband brought up the subject. About how in his younger days he and two friends used to travel on holidays. They often ended up with one double bed in a room. In their case they just wouldn't share. One would take the bed, the others on the floor. I can understand that, it IS too intimate for many people.
Often it can be big family gatherings for Christmas or such, it's tricky deciding where everyone sleeps.
So would you happily sleep in a bed with someone of the same sex? Though of course all completely just through necessity.
