I am very happy to say that at 87 I am still interested and appreciative, but only in looking! Women only!!! My libido got up and left some time ago. And I would never...ever...in my entire life resort to sex with a sex worker. I have been too much of a romantic all of my life. I need(ed) emotional closeness as well! It was essential. Physical attraction and emotional closeness combined was the only way!

You are confused Ladies, I have not mentioned sex as sex does not come into it, that seems always to be older lady thinking. Firstly I am more than totally sympathetic to the plight of a partner found left on their own, it is a dreadful situation. However, few older women are interested in becoming in effect carers for old men and all that goes with it unless the men are loaded, adding also that they seem to get very sensitive over their own body parts when they age, unlike men. Hence, their friends become like-minded women with like-minded conversations, which suits me as I have zero interest in watching soaps and being dragged around boring shops. End of the day, I never see an old lady with a Filipino toy boy on her arm.
Well Avon, since you are the one who brought this topic up, you should also be the one proving your comment with statistics, not us.
Asking women on this site is not only unfair , it’s far from statistical. I, for one, can’t possibly imagine hooking up with a woman, if my spouse died. Certainly not in the way it’s been suggested.

A non sequitur: As a German I was taught to sit for that function. It's more hygienic. Even now you will see in many households a sign: Please sit! This eliminates the unpleasant side effects of male "whizzing" and I approve completely. Not only that but, to the ladies' delight, the seat is never left up! And to return to the subject. Because of our Nurses' shortage in NB we relaxed the rules about foreign nurses and during my recent stay in hospital I was looked after by three Philipina girls in their twenties! They were wonderful, caring, loving, respectful, compared to the brisk but polite efficiency shown by our resident nurses, and it was love at first sight! Bring on Philipinas, the more, the better!

The thousands of Filipino hospital nurses over here have got it well worked out, and their friendship circle is like a small community. These guys think with what they have between their legs and the girls with their brains, and I know who wins. Plus, the age gap does not really work for many, just some.Serves him right.
