Thanks, @hollydolly! Creating/producing something seems to bring me pleasure and peace. Since I turned 60, there has been an innate urgency to produce things and leave a part of me behind.

Also, as I work on the painting, I lose track of time, and am transported to another world, the magical world of the painting (just like I am transported while playing music and writing).

I am grateful that you and other SF members appreciate my efforts. It means a lot to me!!
