Hello, from Los Angeles, California

:) I am a rare native. Born and lived here all my life. The city has grown up all around me. I love to haunt the Venice Boardwalk and Santa Monica pier. Lots of people, happy people. Lots of warm sunshine most all year long. Can't say I mind climate change. It has made where I live much warmer and sunnier. I spend most of my time out and about; walking around with my camera. Do you like photography? It is my hobby. I am not a Pro and don't aspire to be one. Rather I just have fun and enjoy photography as much as I can. How about you?

Here is both a photo and a welcome, Robb. I love photography but just use my phone camera these days.Welcome deer.jpg

Welcome, Robb. We have some things in common. I was born and raised in L.A. And, I also like to take photos. I hope you post some of yours in the photography section.
I can post photos, here? Great. As soon as I can figure out how to do it, I will. I am just feeling my way around in the dark at the moment. Have a great day. Glad to have met you.

Hi Robb
Been to LA twice - never went near downtown but stayed around El Segundo and Hermosa Beach. I must say at felt most at home at Venice Beach.

My main hobby is photography too... like you, I'm no expert, but I enjoy it.. You will find most of my pictures in the Photography section of this forum . You will be able to post photos once you've been a member for about a week..

Welcome to SF.

Was born in downtown LA then lived in its San Fernando Valley area before K12. So don't recall much except for its distinct smell of smog during that era.

Southern California sadly is arguably the world's worst example of how a precious modern region has been destroyed by vast over-population and over-development courtesy of Wall Street real estate and financial corporations and their political puppets.

Hi Robb. I love taking pictures but am out of practice these days. I have to charge up my camera one of these days and see what I can find to photograph. I have been out to LA & other areas of CA. It's beautiful there.
