I am a rare native. Born and lived here all my life. The city has grown up all around me. I love to haunt the Venice Boardwalk and Santa Monica pier. Lots of people, happy people. Lots of warm sunshine most all year long. Can't say I mind climate change. It has made where I live much warmer and sunnier. I spend most of my time out and about; walking around with my camera. Do you like photography? It is my hobby. I am not a Pro and don't aspire to be one. Rather I just have fun and enjoy photography as much as I can. How about you?

Welcome from Pennsylvania. I was in L.A. once and it was OK, but too much people and concrete for me, but it's what we all call "home" if we were born and raised there so that's different. You probably wouldn't like PA.

Was born in downtown LA then lived in its San Fernando Valley area before K12. So don't recall much except for its distinct smell of smog during that era.

Southern California sadly is arguably the world's worst example of how a precious modern region has been destroyed by vast over-population and over-development courtesy of Wall Street real estate and financial corporations and their political puppets.
