What Was the Last Movie You Watched?

Watching Brit series, "Innocent" with Lee Ingleby... normally I find him too "ferret-faced" (and I dislike a lot of the characters he plays, such as John Baccus on the series "George Gently") but in this series, he really does a good job of bringing the character to life. Freed after seven years from prison and maintaining his innocence in the murder of his wife, he gives a very provincing performance-- keeps you guessing: is he guilty and a first class manipulator or is he innocent and simply struggling with the enormity of all that's happened to him? Gripping viewing...
I liked him in Master and Commander; the character wasn't likable but I thought he did a great job playing the part as he always does in everything I've seen him in.

Deep in the woods of North Carolina is a man name Joe Hollis who's lived off the grid for 50 years. Here he's mastered the techniques of a life tuned to nature, dependent on his natural environment for survival. He also has the largest collection of native Appalachian and Chinese medicinal herbs in the Eastern US. Join me on this most epic look into a lifestyle that is becoming more attractive to many in this rapidly developing world. This is part of our greater Appalachia series: • APPALACHIA 🇺🇸 ► Help rebuild Joe's library: https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-mount...► Joe's website: http://www.mountaingardensherbs.com► Joe's YT channel: / @mountaingardens

I have lived in a forest for 36 years where we cleared it for very similar projects.
I just watched this, he may be the smartest man I've ever listened to. Thanks @Paco Dennis.

Joy House (French title: Les félins / UK title: The Love Cage) is a 1964 French neo-noir mystery-thriller starring Alain Delon, Lola Albright, and Jane Fonda. The film was directed by René Clément. It's based on the 1954 novel of the same name by Day Keene. You know Lola Albright as the beautiful blonde jazz chanteuse who sang at Mother's Club and was Peter Gunn's girlfriend.

Marc, is a card sharp/con man/gigolo who is being pursued by American gangsters who have been ordered to kill him because he had an affair with a mafia mob boss's wife. Marc escapes them and heads to France. He hides in a religious mission for the poor where Barbara, a mysterious wealthy widow who lives in a Gothic mansion on the Côte d'Azur, finds him while she and her cousin, Melinda, are there donating food and supplies, and hires him as her chauffeur. Melinda becomes totally enamored of Marc.

While hiding out from the hitmen who are continuing to search for him, Marc starts to suspect something isn't quite right about his new job situation. With nowhere to run but also no safety in his current position, Marc tries to get to the bottom of what happened to Barbara's husband and what's going on between the two women. What ensues is full of twists and turns. I'll say no more. 😎

No films today. Did a search for TV series...

Regarding "Mysteries" and "Drama Series", daughter and I just love them. Granted these are TV series, but they're in the same style. It was really a good find this morning on Disney+. Whoa and Wow!
