The first ever totally automated McDonalds

Well this is interesting as I live just a few miles outside of Fort Worth. I have always enjoyed McDonalds food since I was a kid but now the cost is not appropriate for the food. I no longer think of them the same.

I do still think of them as a good option for teenagers to work. In the kitchen or at the counter they are learning the skills they need to know as adults in the workplace. Responsibilty, dealing with the public, resolving disputes, hygeine in food prep, least of all coming to work on schedule. From that they also learn to be responsible for the money earn, saving for the future or things they want, a car or saving for school/college.

Probably the most important of all are the people of the community that struggle to find employment. Our people, both young and old that struggle with conditions such as being on the spectrum, downs syndrome, learning disabilties. It is often not about making money, it is about having a purpose, making friends, feeling that they do deserve and have a place in society.

No, I will not be visiting this place if I want McDonalds. I hope they will reconsider their commitment to the community and the benefits they should offer to all.

There's no more teen voice asking, "Do you want fries with that?" A totally automated McDonalds.
It was just announced today that California has established a new "minimum" wage for fast food workers in the State: $20.00 per hour for a salary of $40,000 per year. (If a kid can make that at his first job, why bother going to college?) So undoubtedly you will see many more automated McDonalds in California very soon. Can't say I really blame McDonalds. What would you do if you were running the company?

Sure, get rid of all the people. Who needs them? Me, I wouldn't go there if the food was free.

People are way more important than machines, gadgets and that very trendy AI.

What will happen to all the wannabe gangster that like to
fight and fire at mcd's..???
