I have seen her talk about how she chose her "look". She grew up in a small town and there was a "whore" that she thought looked great. So she says that was her model.Hello boys!
It's sad really, Dolly is an interesting and very talented lady. She has always been a popular guest when she has appeared on British Television Chat Shows.
Well it does look like one false move and she could have your eye out with those whoppers !!View attachment 304677
Have you ever seen the photo that raised millions of eyebrows? Sophia Loren gave a disapproving look at Jayne Mansfield in 1957 during a cocktail party at the Beverly Hills Hotel; the beauty told Entertainment Weekly she was 'afraid' of the blonde's cleavage.
let's hope men don't want to follow that Mantra...If you've got it, flaunt it.
I remember one middle aged, not particularly attractive woman, used to attend church with masses of cleavage on show. I wondered why.
I think it is quite common to try to draw attention to whatever we think our best attributes are.
Not me , I was a tomboy ...I was very annoyed when that happened. It made me different from all the other boysPerhaps savoring the end of an era? As I understand it breasts are something girls look forward to developing with anticipation if for no other reason than the outward show of more physical maturity. Of course it they are also notoriously attractive to the opposite sex so perhaps breasts also provide women with the coin of the realm for romantic relationships? They represent a kind of power in some sense.
Exactly so... lol..I've considered leaving it out at times but did you know? You can be arrested for that!![]()

I have two sons and I can tell you boys will be boys! Most boys (teens) never get used to the impact a women's looks/ body can have on them, it is, shall we say, somewhat stimulating...I was recently wondering if men in general, have become de-sensitized to seeing
bosoms.
With teen girls wearing halter tops and shorts to school in the summer, do young boys
get used to it? I wonder what effect it has on male teachers.

We do realise as we get older, we knew no better as youngsters I suppose.I can remember wearing mini skirts back when they were popular and I had great legs, I can also remember my mother-in-law's disapproving looks.
Now, after many years and with the knowledge that sex appeal is not in showing excessive amounts of skin. so I find it very inappropriate, especially in young teenage girls.....maybe I have become my mother-in-law....
I love Dolly Parton, she is so beautiful. She is so intelligent too and incredibly talented.Maybe showing cleavage is recognition of how high society & royalty is depicted in the popular series Bridgerton & Downton Abbey. Not so much in Downton Abbey but Mary Queen of Scots did show cleavage. Then other royalty like some pics of Queen Mary show cleavage. So I wonder why it's a big deal to show cleavage.
As for Dolly Parton, her breasts are natural. Show business is about being recognized & she is easily recognized. But not only for her breasts but for her talent in song writing, singing & acting. Aside from that her generosity is like this.
