There are so many 'Nice People' on this forum, who do their best to make other 'Nice People' hereabouts happy. This is my little tribute to all of you..... add your own two penneth if you wish, perhaps a witty line, or perhaps a song or even a poem. 😊

I have on many occasions, but don't like to mention it. It just comes natural to me. Years ago, I was on a train and a lady complimented me on a pair of earrings I was wearing. She really like them. I took them off and gave them to her. Mind you, they were my favorite pair of earrings. She could not believe it. She said that was the nicest thing anyone has ever done. Then she complimented my blouse, I told her I can't take that off and give it to you..we both laughed :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

ooh Lord yes...many times...

I think the most excited I ever saw a homeless guy be was ..when I gave him a big unopened pouch of tobacco. I'd brought it back with me from overseas.. but the recipient had stopped smoking, so I had it in my cupboard for weeks, when I realised I could give it to someone on the streets.

I asked the guy who was sitting on the pavement outside some shops in Hitchin if he smoked.. he said he did.. and I offered him the tobacco... I've never seen someone more excited to receive a donation...
 
One day I stopped just inside the door of the supermarket to look at some flowers, looked at the price, put them down and shopped on. A half hour or more later, I had my groceries and was getting in my car when the woman who had been flower shopping next to me walked up and handed me the big bouquet I had been looking at. She said she saw me looking at them and wanted me to have them!

She had followed me through the entire store while I took my time and read labels!

She was an exceedingly nice people!

Many times. Friends told me not to saying, they're drunks, but were so surprised when a guy I gave money to ran to a caf and came out with a sandwich and a can of coke. It tells me to keep helping and never to judge others which I try not to to do.

There was a guy that always hung around a food shop where I would get food on the way to work. I (and others) would give him money. When he would get enough for a meal, he would get it there and go on. One day I didn't see him and asked the clerk about him. She said he only got enough for a drink and left. I ordered my to go meal. I drove around the corner and there he was sitting under a tree drinking his drink. I pulled over and gave him my meal. A few months after that no one saw him again.
